TEACHER'S DAY
In today's competitive age, students have to persevere in their studies and achieve higher marks. Bhayyasaheb Dada started scholarships in various schools of the institute. Scholarships are awarded to the student who gets the highest marks from the institute in the examinations in secondary schools, along with gold medals and other cash scholarships. These scholarships are given to the students in the memory of many dignitaries of the village, which marks a respect towards them. These scholarships were started on the occasion of the birthday of Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan. In 1974 this ritual started with Mandakini Kale's gold medal and continues till the date. In this program, the teachers who have done excellent work in the field of education from the district are felicitated by the organization. The main objective of the program is to inculcate a importance of education in the students and also to make the teachers in their institutes strive to excel in the field of education.
SENIOR CITIZEN DAY
This unique event is organized by the school and organization on 21st November in the memory of Bhaiyyasaheb Dada Deshmukh. This event is held to pass on the message of respecting our elders and treating them with honor, to the new generation. On this event, the elders call the congregation together. All of them are honored by wearing kumkumtilak, bouquets and gifts. Moreover, everyone is given a respectful meal.
The old age honor ceremony held in the school environment is a regular event which continues to cultivate the new generation.
GOLDEN JUBILEE OF ADARSHA VIDYALAYA
Babarao Education Society, Talvel established Adarsh ​​Vidyalaya, on July 1, 1961. It completed 50 years in the academic session 2011-2012. Therefore, the year 2011-2012 was celebrated as the Golden Jubilee Year. The Golden Jubilee Festival was celebrated by various dignitaries to review the progress of the school's public welfare, philanthropic and creative work.
ACKNOWLEDGMENT DAY
In order to facilitate the education of the poor and backward class students in the school-uniforms, textbooks and school materials are distributed at the hands of dignitaries on the occasion of Late Bhayyasaheb Deshmukh's birthday. All the students are sweetened. Through this program, the life work of Late Bhayyasaheb Deshmukh is introduced to all. This activity is carried out regularly every year to impart education to the students and to facilitate the education of the poor students.
WOMEN'S DAY
Health camps and various health related programs are implemented for the better health of women in Panchkrushi and Talvel. Through this program, health check-up camps and health counseling programs are organized for the better health of women in the village. A large number of modern technology based cancer screening camps, blood screening camps, eye screening camps, physical hygiene care, dietician guidance etc. are conducted in large numbers for the women of the village. A large number of women not only from the village but also from the surrounding villages participate in this camp on this occasion. All the women present on the occasion of Women's Day are also honored by the school and the organization.
GOLDEN JUBILEE OF SHANKAR VIDYALAYA
On July 2, 2003, the school's Golden Jubilee celebrations were held to mark the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Shankar Vidyalaya, Talvel. The building of the school was illuminated at this time. The whole sky in the area of ​​the village seemed to light up. The Golden Jubilee celebrations were held in a grand pavilion in the school premises. In addition to many cultural events, various sports competitions, lectures, blood donation camps etc was held. Many events were held for three days in a row. The ceremony was held in the presence of the first woman President of India, Smt. Pratibha Tai Patil, former Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Vilasrao Deshmukh and many dignitaries.
